In recent years, e-commerce has accelerated at an unimaginable pace. What was once expected to take up to ten years gained traction far sooner than anticipated.

Following market trends and aiming to offer a seamless consumer experience on digital platforms, Marcopolo felt the urgency to digitize its product catalog on one of the region’s leading marketplaces: Mercado Livre.

The Start of the Partnership

Marcopolo was introduced to Alephee through a referral from Mercado Livre one of our key partners. Both organizations now share a mission to help automotive businesses transform their current models.

Before migrating, Marcopolo already sold auto parts on a different marketplace. But Mercado Livre, which now represents 45% of Brazil’s e-commerce volume according to Morgan Stanley, offered greater visibility and sales potential.

Eduardo Crocoli, Post-Sales Coordinator at Marcopolo, explains: “We were already on another e-commerce platform, but we switched for greater visibility, easier shopping, and more options.”

With representation across all Brazilian states, Marcopolo aimed to expand its online outreach effectively.

Integration with Alephee

The integration process took approximately three months, requiring full commitment from both teams. Though already operating online, Marcopolo had to learn both Alephee’s and Mercado Livre’s platform specificities.

Cataloging proved to be one of the biggest challenges due to the volume and variety of products. Crocoli highlights: “It was a process that demanded time and expertise.”

Gaining Visibility and Efficiency

Once systems were in place, Marcopolo began leveraging the benefits of Alephee particularly centralized catalog, price and inventory management. Micheli Cemin, E-commerce Analyst, notes: “We managed to bring our catalog into a single platform, create complete listings with category-specific attributes, and generate BI reports to analyze e-commerce performance.”

All reports are delivered via visual dashboards or tables to support clear decision making and generate insight to further boost the brand’s visibility online.

Micheli adds: “Alephee excels thanks to the detailed information, strong platform interface, and tool mobility—especially during cataloging and Mercado Livre integration.”

Strategic Refinement of Listings

Crocoli points out: “Alephee helped us dive deeper into our product details to improve our listings on Mercado Livre, making them more precise and easier for new customers to discover.”

Marcopolo’s B2C model focuses on end consumers. Through Alephee, the company ensures a smooth purchase journey: buyers can either receive products at home or pick up at physical stores.

After migrating to Mercado Livre, Marcopolo observed growth in both customers and sales volume.
