Master Power’s Brazil digital transformation in partnership with Alephee

Over the past three years, Master Power, one of Brazil’s leading turbocharger companies, recognized the need to expand its business operations from offline to online channels.

Igor Abreu, Sales Consultant and the person leading the company’s digital transformation, highlights: “Master Power had long wanted to broaden its sales channels for customers. We were studying the market and analyzing the best time to truly begin.”

After evaluating the market and identifying platforms that could support this shift, Master Power realized that Alephee would be a strong ally in helping to transition its business model from offline to online, especially since our platform connects the entire reseller network.

The First Steps of Master Power’s Digitalization

To put its digital sales strategy on Mercado Livre into action, Alephee was there every step of the way.

Our platform enables the creation of a standardized digital product catalog with associated compatibilities. Moreover, Alephee allows for real-time price and stock synchronization, making it possible to share product catalog data with resellers linked to the account.

Using an indirect sales strategy, Master Power currently works with nine sellers involved in the resale process to the final customer. However, for 2024, the company plans to add 15 new sellers to the operation. With this expansion, the company aims to reach new cities and states across Brazil.

When asked about the relationship with the sellers involved in the project, Igor explains: “We work with a suggested pricing policy, so pricing is our responsibility. Sellers handle their inventory and choose which products they want to advertise.”

Throughout the process of digitizing the company’s operations, Igor notes that the most labor-intensive phase is cataloging and creating listings on Mercado Livre. The company has unique requirements for structuring and publishing product information on the e-commerce platform.

However, Master Power has been supported throughout this journey by the Alephee team. Igor emphasizes: “Alephee’s entire team has been present, offering support for every question or need that came up along the way.”

Looking Ahead: Master Power’s Expansion Plan

With the launch of its official store on Mercado Livre, Master Power underwent an internal restructuring, shifting its focus from exclusively offline to a more balanced online strategy.

This new approach allows the company to target potential customers across Brazil and even globally. It’s worth noting that Master Power, besides being a domestic market leader, also exports to over 50 countries, including key markets in Europe, the U.S., and Asia.

E-commerce Is Just Getting Started

Recent years have driven rapid innovation in both technology and business models, but e-commerce in Brazil is still in its early stages. Igor notes that, in just two years of selling online, the results have been promising: Master Power has generated over R$700,000 in sales through Mercado Livre, with an average ticket of R$2,290.

However, Igor emphasizes: “All sales so far have been organic, as the company hasn’t yet invested in paid traffic to drive customers to our official e-commerce store.”

By mid-2024, Master Power aims to grow its online sales volume by up to 30%. Market research shows this is a feasible goal, as e-commerce offers many untapped opportunities.

Master Power & Alephee

The partnership between Alephee and Master Power has lasted three years and is only getting started. Our joint mission is to help the company expand its reach in e-commerce and increase its sales in regions where it still has limited market share.

Igor highlights two key strengths of the partnership: “Alephee stands out for the level of customer support it provides. Another important feature is the detailed reports available to clients.”

Our clients have access to comprehensive reports, including heat maps showing demand by region, and raw sales data by day, month, and year — key to understanding consumer behavior and refining sales strategy.
