Over the past four years, Argenparts, an auto parts company operating in Mexico, has undergone a digital transformation through e-commerce platforms. Before this shift, their sales were made exclusively through offline channels.
With changes in consumer behavior, Argenparts recognized the need to focus on an increasingly connected audience that prefers to shop online. Since entering e-commerce, the company has significantly increased both sales and the number of listings on Mercado Libre.
Today, according to Jacqueline Aradillas, Catalog Coordinator, “Mercado Libre is one of the company’s main sales channels, a result made possible thanks to the dedicated support Alephee has provided over the past two years”
From Physical Stores to Online Platforms
Argenparts initially focused on brick-and-mortar retail. However, with the growth of e-commerce, the company decided to invest in online sales. Today, it is present on Amazon, its own website, and most importantly, Mercado Libre — its primary sales platform.
“In the beginning, we faced challenges such as manual inventory management and the lack of real-time updates, which made it difficult to meet customer demand on Mercado Libre. That’s when we realized the need for a more robust and automated system.”
Challenges in Inventory and Catalog Management
One of the biggest obstacles before Alephee’s arrival was updating inventory and managing product listings. The company relied on manual spreadsheet updates — a time-consuming process prone to errors. With Alephee’s integration, which connects directly to Argenparts’ ERP, inventory is now updated automatically and in real time after each Mercado Libre sale.
This reduced errors significantly and ensured accurate synchronization, providing customers with reliable availability information. Additionally, Alephee’s cataloging feature enables Argenparts to efficiently manage part compatibilities, complying with Mercado Libre’s policies without delays.
Jacqueline Aradillas notes: “Today we have over 10,000 listings on Mercado Libre. I remember that when we first started working with Alephee, we had about 7,000, and being able to centralize everything in a single platform was essential for advancing our online sales strategy.”
A Complete Model: Online and B2B
While Mercado Libre remains the company’s leading online sales channel, Argenparts also maintains strong relationships with wholesale clients, who can now place orders through the B2B platform provided by Alephee.
With this system, clients can place orders independently and access up-to-date product information, making the process faster and more efficient. In recent months, the company has observed an increase in B2B orders, proving strong adoption of the new model among wholesale clients.
Currently, Argenparts has a dedicated team managing its Mercado Libre listings and plans to expand into other regions of Mexico in the coming years, as the company is not yet present nationwide.
Partnership with Alephee and Customer Support
Before adopting Alephee, Argenparts used another integration platform. When asked about the difference, Jacqueline Aradillas explains: “Alephee has supported us and given us the freedom to raise any questions or issues with the platform, and we always receive answers quickly and easily.” She emphasizes that customer support and availability to assist in any situation are major differentiators.
“The transition to e-commerce was challenging but very rewarding. The partnership with Alephee not only optimized our operations but also allowed us to focus on what matters most: providing the best service to our customers. Overall, we are very satisfied. The platform works well, is user-friendly, and pleasant to use,” adds Aradillas.
She concludes: “Thanks to Alephee’s advanced tools and a reliable support team, we’ve gained essential flexibility to launch new stores, since we can reuse existing listings and speed up the process. We’re ready to continue growing in the Mexican market and, in the future, explore new opportunities for expansion.”
