Mercado Libre in TIME magazine's 2025 ranking

A regional giant with global impact

Founded in 1999 by Marcos Galperin and Hernán Kazah, Mercado Libre has evolved from an e-commerce platform into a digital ecosystem that encompasses financial services, digital payments, logistics, and SME solutions. In 2024, its fintech arm, Mercado Pago, processed around 200 billion dollars in payments, with more than 60 million active monthly users. In addition, it granted 24 billion dollars in loans to small businesses and entrepreneurs, promoting financial inclusion throughout Latin America.

TIME highlighted Mercado Libre for its ability to transform industries, its accelerated growth, its commitment to sustainability, including the largest electric fleet in the region and its strong organizational culture, with more than 112,000 employees expected by year-end, nearly half of them women. These attributes were evaluated based on criteria such as influence, innovation, leadership, and ambition, placing the company alongside giants like Palantir, NBC, and DoorDash.

What does this mean for the automotive sector?

Mercado Libre’s recognition as one of the global titans has direct implications for the automotive industry. In a context where e-commerce is consolidating as the main sales channel, Mercado Libre’s presence as the leading platform in the region enables manufacturers, dealerships, and auto parts distributors to reach millions of potential customers.

From the sale of new and used vehicles to the commercialization of spare parts, tires, and accessories, the automotive ecosystem finds in Mercado Libre a space for expansion and visibility. But to leverage this channel efficiently, it is essential to have tools that facilitate integration and operational management.

Alephee: technology that connects and empowers

In this scenario, Alephee positions itself as a strategic solution for automotive companies. Its platform enables direct integration with Mercado Libre, automating key processes such as product uploads, inventory updates, order management, and price synchronization.

Thanks to this connection, companies can optimize operational time, reduce the risk of human error, centralize commercial management in a single interface, and scale their operations without losing control or efficiency.

Alephee not only facilitates the connection with Mercado Libre but also offers analytical tools to monitor the performance of each listing, identify improvement opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.

A connected future

Mercado Libre’s inclusion in TIME’s ranking is not only a recognition of its trajectory but also a clear indication of where global commerce is heading. For the automotive industry, this represents a unique opportunity to digitalize processes, expand commercial reach, and adapt to new market demands.

Solutions like Alephee make this transformation possible, connecting companies with leading platforms, optimizing their operations, and preparing them to compete in an increasingly dynamic and demanding environment.
